How to do ReWire

1. Work at your own pace, but show up every day. Even if you only have time to read a message or think about an intention, keep coming back. Every day.

2. If you get stuck on a day, come back to it later. You will fly through some of these messages but some days you might find yourself needing more time. Or getting knotted up in a lesson. Give yourself some extra time to see if you can get untangled, but if it starts feeling overwhelming or complicated, move on. Typically, our brains need time (and sleep!) to process information when it's presented to us in a different way than we're used to hearing it...work WITH your brain and not against it.

3. JOURNAL (brain dumps). Don't skip the brain dumps. Just don't. Use the prompt. They were each chosen mindfully to move your thought patterns out of the rut they are in towards new healthier neural connections.

4. Commit. Listen, you've probably tried things like this before. A new diet or a different 21 day challenge. Maybe you made it 4 days in...a week if you're lucky. ReWire is not meant to be a quick fix...it is an entire lifestyle change.

5. Allow "eff-it" days. There will be days when it seems like it's not working. You may have a few days of flying high, feeling inspired, feeling confident followed by days of "this is total bullish!t". THIS IS TOTALLY NORMAL. Your brain is changing the way it's thought for YEARS...and your ego is going to try to prevent that from happening. Our brains don't like change, EVEN when that change would be an incredible improvement. Instead of fighting through those days, just allow them. Treat yourself with the same compassion you would give to someone else going through the same thing. You wouldn't berate them, you would tell them, "Take it easy on yourself. It's ok to have an off day." Take your own advice.

6. But try again tomorrow. Give yourself an off day, but see if the next day you're ready to hit it again.

7. The goal is not perfect. Trying to wait until we can do something perfectly, or until we know we won't fail, or until we've figured out how keeps us stuck. You'll never do it perfectly. I'll let you borrow one of my mantras (which I'm sure I've borrowed as well): Do it shitty. You can always go back and do it better later, but not if you don't start.

8. Get an accountability partner. Know someone else who would enjoy making their life feel better? Ask them to join you!Find someone already doing it and buddy up with them. Tell people what you're doing! It's a fact that we will stick with a goal longer if we know other people are watching. Do it for you, but let that accountability motivate you forward.

9. Post your intentions and gratitudes (and anything else you want) in the comments section on each day. It's just another sign to the Universe that you are taking your life back.

10. Have fun!! I had SO much fun putting this program together. I've had so much fun running this program and getting to know the people who've participated in it. The point behind ReWire is to guide you towards love and happiness and calm and all that goodness...it is NOT to complicate anything. So if it starts feeling heavy, add some light back in. Rewire your thoughts right then by telling yourself, "This is easy for me! This is fun!!"
